Fees

Fees are agreed with your counsellor at the outset. Typically fees are £40.00 per session, but for certain clients Sarum Counselling may be able to support the cost of fees through the Charity’s Bursary Fund.

Sarum Counselling is a registered charity. Nonetheless, all clients make financial contributions to the cost of providing their counselling. People who are in work usually pay the full amount. Those on benefit or in financial difficulties may contribute less. The actual amount is negotiated in each case with the counsellor and reviewed regularly.
 
Sarum Counselling endeavours to seek funding to subsidise counselling for those on low incomes. We maintain a modest fund to enable counsellors to provide reduced fee counselling for those for whom counselling would not be possible at the full fee. Recently we have benefited from funding from The Community Foundation Grass Roots Fund and from South West Area Grants.
 
Our counsellors contribute part of the fees received towards the running of Sarum Counselling.
